The Opportunity
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the Estimator will play a key role in the preparation, coordination, and execution of project budgets, tendering processes, contract administration, and cost analysis for multifamily construction projects. This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience who is looking to further develop their expertise and take on increased responsibility within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
1. Tendering & Procurement
· Prepare, coordinate, and manage tender packages, including adding and engaging subcontractors in Procore
· Review drawings and specifications to develop clear and accurate job scope clarifications
· Ensure the overall accuracy, completeness, and quality of tender packages
· Coordinate and respond to tender-related questions, liaising with internal teams and external partners
· Draft and execute purchase orders and contracts
2. Data Entry / Filing:
· Maintain and manage documentation including purchase orders, contracts, and DocuSign workflows
· Organize and track purchase orders and contracts within Procore and Procore Drive
· Request, monitor, and follow up on required documents such as WCB, COI, and safety forms to ensure compliance
3. Estimating:
· Perform detailed and accurate quantity takeoffs to support budget creation and procurement
· Prepare and submit estimating reports in collaboration with the Estimating Manager
· Review and analyze quotes and bids to ensure alignment with project scope and pricing accuracy
· Contribute to the preparation of Class C/D budgets
· Support value engineering initiatives and cost analysis to optimize project budgets
· Prepare bid recaps and provide insights/recommendations for review
4. Trade Relations:
· Support sourcing and onboarding of new trades to strengthen the subcontractor network
· Manage trade participation and communication through Procore during tendering
· Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
· Act as a point of contact for trade inquiries and provide timely responses during the tender process.

What You Bring To The Team:
2–3 years of experience in construction estimating or project coordination (multifamily experience is an asset)
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, tendering processes, and industry standards
Hands-on experience with estimating software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or equivalent tools
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving mindset with strong organizational skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within the organization
