The Opportunity
Reporting to the President & CEO, the Field Operations Supervisor plays a critical leadership role overseeing the performance, compliance, and development of all active multi-family residential construction projects. This managerial position is responsible for ensuring project schedules are met, standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed, site teams are well-supported and coached, and technical issues are addressed efficiently. This role works closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and the broader project team to deliver excellence across the portfolio.
What You Will be Doing:
Project Oversight & Technical Support
- Support multiple construction sites through high-level coordination and oversight.
- Monitor conformance to company SOPs, construction standards, and safety protocols.
- Assist in resolving complex technical challenges or construction conflicts in collaboration with project and site teams.
- Lead implementation and monitoring of the Lean Last Planner System (LPS) and other continuous improvement processes to drive schedule adherence and project efficiency.
- Participate in regular site visits to evaluate progress, identify risks, and provide strategic support—not to replace day-to-day site supervision.
Leadership & Team Management
- Mentor, support, and manage site staff (e.g., Superintendents, Lead Hands and Field Project Coordinators), encouraging professional development and operational excellence.
- Provide ongoing coaching to promote consistency, leadership growth, and strong team culture across projects.
- Participate in hiring, performance reviews, and team succession planning for site-level personnel.
Planning & Coordination
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Consultants, and Trade Partners to ensure clear planning and resource alignment.
- Facilitate look-ahead planning, pull planning, and other Lean Construction practices.
- Support the development and maintenance of project schedules in alignment with company goals and milestone targets.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Gold Seal Certification, CET designation, or engineering education preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading large-scale multi-family residential construction projects
- Familiarity with project scheduling, budgeting and quality control.
- Knowledge of provincial building codes, safety regulations, and inspection processes.
- Ability to manage multiple sites or phases of construction simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on collaboration and performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Why Join Paragon Living?
- A supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Opportunities for growth, leadership, and professional development.
- Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
- A workplace culture that values creativity, connection, and community.
